Mike Fleming Appointed isol8’s Chairman Elect

Mike Fleming, a seasoned industry veteran, with a pedigree in the commercialisation of new technology has accepted the appointment as Chairman Elect at isol8.

Mike’s experience in board leadership and governance of engineering businesses is of particular interest to the isol8 management team.

Mike has 30 years of technical and commercial leadership experience. He recently served on the board of Smart Fibres. Prior to that Mike was CEO of Gas2 and was one of the founding directors of Venture Production Company which was acquired by Centrica. His experience in downhole tool businesses dates back to his time as Commercial Director of Petroleum Engineering Services, where he became the CEO of Well Dynamics (a Halliburton Company). Mike was also the Head of Oil and Gas at Scottish Enterprise.

He is currently chairman of the board of governors at the Robert Gordon University, board member of the Oil & Gas section of Opportunity North East and deputy co-chair of the Oil and Gas Technology Centre.
